Caramel Apple Tart

This tart with caramel sauce, fresh apples and cranberries is sure to please the whole family.

  • 1 can Baker's Joy® Original Non-Stick Baking Spray with Flour
  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 5 large Golden Delicious apples
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)


Preheat oven to 375˚F. Spray a 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom with Baker's Joy® spray. Unroll pie crust and evenly line tart pan, gently pressing sides of dough into pan. Spread 3/4 cup caramel sauce over bottom of crust. Toss apples with cranberries, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom. Arrange apple mixture over crust. Brush top with heavy cream and sprinkle with walnuts. Bake tart 55 minutes or until apples are tender. Cool tart to room temperature; drizzle if desired with additional caramel sauce before serving.
